Method 4 — Factory Reset Without Remote (Button Combo — Fire TV Edition)
This method is for Westinghouse Fire TV Edition models only — the early smart TVs built on Amazon’s Fire TV OS. It uses the physical buttons on the TV and bypasses the OS entirely, so it works even if the screen is frozen or the interface is completely unresponsive.
- Unplug the TV from power. Turning it off is not enough — it must be fully unplugged from the wall.
- Find the row of physical buttons on the underside of the TV, to the right of the Westinghouse logo.
- Locate the SOURCE button — second from the right.

Forgot Your PIN? Westinghouse Default PIN Codes
If the TV asks for a PIN during the factory reset confirmation and you don’t remember setting one, try these defaults:
